About Basilic - Cathedral
The temple was built in the eighteenth century and since then thousands of people come every year to venerate the Virgin of San Juan de los Lagos. Despite the beautiful construction with a baroque style typical of the region, it is the monument to the Virgin of only 33.5cm tall whom people will see. They say that multiple miracles have been performed being the first in 1623 when, according to legend, revived a small girl.
