About The Fundadores Plaza (Pedestrianized Zone)
At the center of the square is the Fuente de los Leones, one of the main symbols of the city, which was added in 1976 when the city celebrated its fourth centenary. Each of his four lions represents 100 years. As this first picture of the city is closed to vehicular traffic, it is very pleasant to walk through its portals, sit on a bench in the square and visit the attractions around the square.
