About Martyrs' Park on January 2

The main square of the city was once known as Constitution Square, renamed after an unfortunate historical event occurred on January 2, 1946. On that day many citizens lost their lives in front of the troops of General Bonifacio Salinas to manifest dissatisfaction with the elections.
Now it's a peaceful garden where you can enjoy your trees, benches and kiosk.
