About Equinoccio de Primavera
The Magic Town of Bernal celebrates the spring equinox with a pre-Hispanic ritual that consists of bringing offerings to the Holy Cross, which is located in the upper part of the Peña; in addition to doing the ritual known as greeting the 4 cardinal points and the lighting of the new fire.
At the same time, cultural events are held in the center of town. Remember that the maximum capacity to climb is 450 people at the same time.
Although the entry of Spring begins at 9 pm on March 20, it is important to consider that the relevant events are on March 21.
