About La Peña de Bernal (Monolith)
The third largest monolith in the world, is an earthly paradise for those who practice climbing with its approximately 300 meters high. Nestled in the Sierra Gorda, the nature that surrounds it and the Magic Village of Villa de Bernal at its feet are other reasons to visit this place. Every March 21 thousands of tourists arrive to this rock to recharge energy, but remember that you need some experience to climb to the top. Also in the historic center you can take a tour of the Peña skirts aboard Safari vehicles, to discover the cave of the skull, a cave painting and an ancient refuge Chichimeca, the operator that takes you is Ecoturismo Los Cuervos.
