About Feria Comitán
The August fair is the most important celebration of the comitecos, which they hold in honor of their patron saint, Santo Domingo. Comitán is filled with color with the traditional parade of allegorical floats from which the piteros, drummers and stilt walkers rejoice the public and with the coronation of the Queen of the fair.
In addition to the palenque, mechanical games and fireworks, it has the participation of famous artists at the Teatro del Pueblo.
