The house where this illustrious Chiapanec was born in 1863, is now a museum where objects of his personal use, medical instruments, furniture and even personal correspondence are exhibited, throughout his 10 rooms. It was 50 years that this benefactor of the poor lived there, and despite its restorations, the original and typical architecture of the time is still preserved both inside, and in the gardens.
