About Catemaco Lagoon
This place to visit is located in the center of the Sierras de los Tuxtlas, this lagoon located 340 meters above sea level is fed by streams that descend from the mountains. From the Malecón in Catemaco you can take a boat to ride in it. Also visit the Island of Monkeys, the Agaltepec Island, the Agrio Stream, Nanciyaga, The Jungle, Ojoxapan Waterfall, El Porvenir, Punta Tepeyaga and other ecotourism centers.
