About Tlaxco

This magical village offers beautiful landscapes like forests, streams and small waterfalls, for nature lovers. The destination is also famous for its architectural richness present in the parish of St. Augustine of Hippo, one of the most preserved in the state, its interior has an altarpiece carved in wood and laminated in gold, which apparently dates back to the eighteenth century. In addition to the recent discovery of the site of cave paintings located a kilometer and a half from the La Cienega community, known as Cave Paintings La Gloria.
