About The Comalcalco Archaeological Site
In Nahuatl name means "the place of the house of the griddles" and perhaps the bricks used in its architecture resembling the griddles and used in Mexico is due. The place was a provincial site of Palenque, despite its 160 kilometers away from each other, which indicates the expansion of the Maya.
