About The Angela Peralta Theater

Initially known as the Rubio Theater, it was inaugurated in 1874, although the luxurious details were completed in 1881. Erected in the Porfirian era, it is one of the most beautiful in our country and declared Historical Heritage of the Nation in 1990.

It functioned as such until 1940, to become a cinema until 1963, then to be completely abandoned until it was largely destroyed in the 1975 cyclone.

It was not until 1992 that it reopened its doors after five years of remodeling, with faithful reproductions of the original design. Now you can enjoy all kinds of events in it.
