It is a hole created in the ground resulting from the collapse of limestone soil, measuring 478 meters deep with a diameter of 60 meters and in this awesome hole mainly inhabit swifts white chest and green parrot who gets their ethnic name called Huahuas of hence the name of this basement.
The experience begins with the release of hundreds of birds, but it is possible to go down to the cave to observe it from within.
From Aquismón take the Highway 85 Matlapa - Ciudad Valles, at kilometer 326 there is a detour towards the town of San Isidro Tampaxal, there you will be informed where is the entrance to the road by a path that will take you to the basement.
