Opening its doors in 1994, the museum is divided into eight sections comprising an extended period of this civilization. Since its expansion in Mexico, Guatemala and Belize, their relationship with nature, architecture and urban development, commerce, interaction with other cultures and the Spanish conquistadors, are some of its main themes.
