About Toluquilla Archaeological Zone

Located on top of a hill in the Sierra Gorda, this site is closely related to that of the Frogs and the strategic location of both gave them control over settlements under around. Also part of a trade route, from here cinnabar which anointed the dead was controlled. Their conservation is exceptional and can distinguish stairways, alleys, streets, walls and other buildings.
