La Tallera Siqueiros
This space, considered the first muralism workshop in the world, bears its name in feminine form by decision of David Alfaro Siqueiros himself, in homage to women as creators of life.
Originally conceived as his workshop and residence, La Tallera was designed by Siqueiros himself to develop, among other projects, the work commissioned for the Hotel Casino de la Selva in Cuernavaca.
Following a recent renovation by renowned architect Frida Escobedo, it now functions as a public museum of contemporary art, where you can admire Siqueiros's surprising legacy and enjoy temporary exhibitions.
