The name of this typical food Hidalgo, comes from the word 'pasty' which in English means pie and it was introduced by the British. Opened in 2012, the museum will tell the story of the arrival of the paste that is closely linked to the mining history of the town. In fact, the food was typical between miners.
We recommend you try the traditional potato and minced, or the newest mole or tinga.
