Historic Downtown
Its name in Basque means “flat land”, but it is also known as La Perla de Oro del Bajío and is an ideal place to do religious tourism and enjoy its famous cajeta sweets. Founded in 1570, the predominant architecture is neoclassical. You cannot leave without visiting its Main Square, Municipal Presidency, Cathedral, Temple of the Third Order, Temple of San Agustín and Temple of San Francisco, among others.
