About Plan de Ayutla Archaeological Zone
It is an ancient Mayan city with an architectural style identical to that of Palenque. It has three main acropolis, whose buildings still lie buried. According to experts this site could be the city of Sak Tzi, which translates as White Dog. Currently access to the area is restricted to the public, so access will be necessary to go ejido Plan de Ayutla to obtain a permit and a guide lead the tour.
