One of the first buildings in Baja California, the building dates back to 1886 and its second floor was built in 1887. First it was a Court of First Instance, then it worked as a military barracks, a municipal jail, a hospital and a school; now houses five rooms exhibiting the history of Baja California from its first settlers to the uprising of the 21st battalion.
