About Carnaval Jiutepec
The largest and most important celebration in the State of Morelos, features dance, art, music, the Teatro del Pueblo where great national artists perform, and mechanical games for the enjoyment of children and adults.
The activities, which are carried out in family life, are:
• Thursday 👉 Widows' Procession and the Burial of Bad Mood.
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday 👉 The traditional Chilean Jump
• Monday Children's Carnival 👉 Traditional costume contest where children can jump. Closing of the Brinco del Chinelo.
Another day to consider is the Sunday before Carnival, as this is when the comparsas meet.
