About Museum of Contemporary Art of Tamaulipas
In a building built in 1969 to support local artisans, MACT opened its doors in 2002. The design of the property is due to the architect Mario Pani Darqui and it has an open-air theater, bookstore, central patio, terrace and lobby. Here the main manifestations of contemporary art are exhibited and works by artists such as Rafael Coronel, Salvador Dalí and Jan Hendrix have been exhibited.
