About Exconvent Agustino

With a construction that began in 1540, this convent has a Plateresque and Renaissance style, and it was here where the evangelization of the whole area began. Built by the natives, they were also the ones who painted some of the cloister's murals, being one of the first artistic samples of cultural miscegenation. The entire complex with its temple, kitchen, pantry, chapter room and cloister is worth exploring.
