This beautiful building dates back to 1909, its original facade is made with river stones. Formerly it was a house of the first picture of the city, later it served as offices and primary school. Currently it is a museum that exhibits pieces found in the region, like spearheads, crowns of material similar to ixtle, mortars in very good condition, it also has two rooms dedicated to the ethnic groups that inhabit the region: the Kikapoo and Negros Mascogos. It also houses a large number of photographs and historical documents as well as an interesting exhibition of the minerals of the region.
