About California Hotel
Founded by Antonio Wong Tabasco and Trinidad Castillo, it opened in 1950 after three years of construction making it iconic of the then little known town. Years later, the rumor emerged that the song with the same name of The Eagles was inspired by this building. Apparently, a real estate agent in the '80s began the rumor to give popularity to the people. Whatever the truth, it is worth visiting the monument.
