About Kitchens Island

This natural beauty is integrated into a group of 8 islands and 4 islets of the Chamela Bay Islands Sanctuary, of which this island is one of the largest. In the southeast part there is a small beach where you can disembark to spend the day or to walk around the island to observe the birds. This charming place is perfect for snorkeling, since it has a very calm surf and crystal clear waters. To get to the island you need to take a boat in Punta Pérula to transport yourself to the island by sea; the walk lasts approximately 20 minutes.
