About The Arcotete (Ecoturism Park)
One of the most hidden tourist places of San Cristóbal de las Casas is the Arcotete. This impressive natural stone arch owes its name to the incredible limestone rock structures with stalactites ideal for rock climbing. The place has more than 2 medium-grade rock climbing routes. There are also camping area and horse and bicycle tours. Contact one of the expedition operators in the tourist area of San Cristóbal de las Casas.
How to get?
From San Cristóbal, take the road to Tenejapa. After 2.5 miles in that direction take the deviation to the right and just 1 mile from there you will find the parking. And from there very little towards the Arcotete River.
