The legacy undergoing here includes more than 2,500 pieces from, two collections: Board of Trustees of the Pellizzi, AC and Development Banamex Cultural Collection, with important examples of tissues chiapanecos acquired since 1996. In addition to the important work of preservation and exhibition of textile collections, includes the study and coexistence of the ancient textile tradition with their present living and participation of weavers and embroiderers of different ethnic groups and different regions of the Mayan World. Also in place various cultural, artistic and academic activities such as roundtables, forums, seminars, conferences and book presentations are organized.
