About Arocena Museum

Located in the old Casino de la Laguna, the museum has different rooms related to European art, contemporary art, New Spain art, as well as regional history. The collection is started by the family of Rafael de Arocena y Arbide, a Basque immigrant who dedicated himself to the cultivation of cotton in the 19th century. In addition to the permanent exhibition, you will also find other first class temporary ones that are worth visiting.
