About Cenote Zaci

Zací in Mayan means white hawk, and that was the name of the city on which the current Valladolid was founded. This place to visit is one of the largest open-air cenotes in the peninsula and the vegetation that surrounds it is spectacular. Used since pre-Hispanic times as water supply, until the twentieth century it became a tourist site.
