About Cempoala Archaeological Zone
Since 1891 the first exploration of this place was made and you will still be able to see the model that they made of the site. The construction of the buildings has walled systems in order to protect the site from flooding. Hence, the sets of mounds that you will see are surrounded by walls. Some of the constructions that you can visit in this place to visit are: the Great Pyramid, the Temple of the Cross, the Caritas Building and the Temple of the Air God.
