About The Pile

Considered one of the most important monuments of America, is the only Mudejar style brick made statewide. It was built in the sixteenth century by the Spaniards with the aim that people gather in one place for water. This monumental fountain appears to be unique in Latin America. Muslim art meets a Renaissance-inspired dome and a Gothic structure.
