About Noche de los Rábanos
This traditional Oaxacan festival, whose origin dates back to 1897, consists of horticulturists and floriculturists participating and competing every December 23rd to recreate the best Christmas scene made with radishes and recently they can also use immortal flowers and totomoxtle (corn husk).
The display of these creative performances lasts only a few hours. The Night of the Radishes is considered one of the most popular festivals in Oaxaca.
